HISTORY I GLOSSAR
Gegründet wurde das Unternehmen 1965 mit einem kleinen Car-HiFi-
Sortiment in den USA und hat sich schon bald mit großem Erfolg als
Pionier in der schnurlosen und mobilen Kommunikation etabliert. Seit
2004 ist AUDIOVOX mit seinem Car Audio Programm auch in Deutschland
aktiv und hat sich hierzulande vor allem mit Deckenmonitoren und
DVD-Playern einen Namen gemacht. Im Jahr 2006 präsentiert die Marke vier
besonders vielseitige Multimedia-Receiver und nimmt - mit der ersten Docking-
Station - erfolgreich am iPod-Hype teil. Das kleine aber feine Produktportfolio
umfasst ein gut a/jointfilesconvert/367496/bgestimmtes Sortiment an Car-Audio-Multimedia-Receivern

The company was founded in the USA in 1965 with a small selection of car hi-

and mobile communication sector. AUDIOVOX has also been actively promoting
its car audio programme in Germany since 2004 and it has made a name
for itself here particularly with its roof mounted monitors and DVD players.
In 2006 the brand introduced four particularly versatile multimedia receivers
and it achieved success in the iPod market with its rst docking station. The
company‘s small but impressive product portfolio includes a well-rounded range
of car audio multimedia receivers with various conguration options, such as
integrated 3D navigation, hands-free Bluetooth functionality and a multi-format
