There are 2 tuning methods: aulomafic and manual. Automatic tuning is effective when station signals are strong and

there is no interference. If the signal fi'om the station you want to select is weak. tune into it manually. You can also use

the automatic and manual preset lulling fealllres R) store tip to 40 stal]ons.

1 Press @INPUT <_/c> repeatedly so that

"TUNER" is displayed in the front panel

display,

2 Press @BAND to select the reception band

(FM or AM).

3 Press @TUNING AUTO/MAN'L so that the

AUTO indicator lights up in the front panel

display,

No colon (:)

Ifa colon (:) appears in the front panel display,

automatic riming is not possible. Press

@PRESETfl'UNING to turn the colon (:) off.

If the signal received l¥om the stalkm you want to select is

weak. tune into it manually.

Manually tuning into an FM station aulomafically switches the

tuner _/_monaural reception _o inc_ase the signal quality¸

indicator lights up and the fl'equency of the received

station is shown in the front panel display.
