You clm connect a Yamaha Bluetooth adapter (such as YBA-10, sold sepmately) to tile DOCK terminal of this unit and

enjoy the music contents stored in your Bluetooth component (sud] as a portable nmsic player) without wiring between

this unit and the Bluetooth component. You need to perlk)rm "pairing" the connected Bluetooth adapter and your

Bluetooth component in ad',ance.

Pairing must be pertbrmed when using a Bluetooth

component with the Bluek)oth adapter connected to this

unit lk_rthe first time or if the pairing data has been 4

deleted. "Pairing" refers to the operation of _gistering a

Bluetooth conlponent for Bhletooth communications.

There are two pairing mefllods: pairing by using "START

PAIRING" in "SET MENU" and quick pairing.

• Pairing by using "SET MENU"

Use this ti_atnre to perlorm pairing with the video monitor.

Select "START PAIRING" in "INPUT MENU". See

page 71 tk)r details.

• Quick pairing

1 Press @INPUT <I / [> repeatedly (or press

@V.AUXiDOCK) to select "V-AUX" as the

input source,

2 Turn on the Bluetooth component you want

to pair with.

3 Press and hold @BAND (or @BAND) for 3

seconds to start pairing.

Once the Blnetooth adapter staffs pairing,

"Searching..." appears R)r a moment. While the

Bluetooth adapter is in the pairing mode, DOCK

indicator flashes in the front panel display.

If the Bhletoolh adapter is not connected to the DOCK

Check that the Bluetooth component detects

the Bluetooth adapter.

If theBluetooth component detects the Bluetooth

adapter, "Y BA- Ill YAMAHA" (example) appears in

the Bluetooth device list.

Select the Bluetooth adapter in the Bluetooth

device list and then enter the pass key

"0000" on the Bluetooth component.

When the pairing procedure is successful,

"Completed" appears in the lrotlt panel display.

The g*_maha Bhleioolh adapter can be paiJed wilh lip {o eight

Bluen>oth components. When pairing is conducted successhdly

with a ninth componen{ and the pairing data is registered, {he

pairing data ter the least recently used other component is

cleared.

@V-AUXtDOCK) to select "V-AUX" as the

input source,

Start playback of your Bluetooth component.

When the connected Bluetooth adapter detects the

Bluetooth component, "BT connected" and the

DOCK indicator appears in the fl'ont panel display.
