CD CHANGER CONTROLS
Built into this unit are controls to operate an optional CD changer.
Please check with your Prestige car stereo specialist for
recommendations of the models that will work with this unit.
Adjustment of the audio functions (volume, tone, balance, and fader)
for the CD changer operate in the same manner as they do for radio
and cassette play. The following controls will operate the CD changer
when it is installed and connected to this unit. Refer to the owner’s
manual included with the CD changer for instructions on the
installation and correct loading and use of the CD magazine.
cq MODE SELECTOR
With the CD changer connected to the unit, this button is used to
select CD changer operation. To choose CD mode, press the button
until the indication “CdC” appears on the display panel. The
display will then change to indicate the disc number and track
number. Press the Mode button again to change back to radio or
tape operation.
cr & cs DISC SELECT (D+) (D–)
These buttons are used to select the desired disc for play. To
advance to a higher number disc, press the “D+” button cr. To
return to a lower number disc, press the “D” button cs. The number
of the selected disc in play will be shown on the display panel.
ct TRACK SELECT
These buttons are used to quickly select the beginning of a
particular track. With each momentary tap of the Forward Track
Select button (+), the next higher track number will be selected as
shown on the display panel. Similarly, with each momentary tap of
the Backward Track Select button (), the next lower track number
will be selected.
cu CUE/REVIEW FUNCTIONS
High-speed audible search to any section of the disc can be made
by the Cue and Review functions. Press and hold the Cue button
(+) to advance rapidly in the forward direction or the Review button
() to advance rapidly in the backward direction. During either
function, the elapsed time within each track will automatically be
shown on the display panel.

During disc play, press this button to temporarily stop play of the
disc (“PAUS” indication will flash on the display panel). Press the
button again to resume play of the disc from the point at which it
was stopped. Pause mode will also be canceled by activating the
Disc Select cr & cs, Track Select ct, or Cue/Review cu functions.
dm TRACK/DISC REPEAT (RPT)
When the Repeat button is pressed, play of the selected track will
be continually repeated (“RPT” will appear on the display panel and
“TRK” will flash). The Track Repeat mode will be canceled by
pressing the Repeat button again (“RPT” will disappear from the
display panel and “TRK” will stop flashing) or by activating the Shuffle
dn or Scan do functions
When the Repeat button is pressed and held longer than 2 seconds,
play of the selected disc will be continually repeated (“RPT” will
appear on the display panel and “DISC” will flash). The Disc
Repeat mode will be canceled by pressing the Repeat button again
(“RPT” will disappear from the display panel and “DISC” will stop
flashing) or by activating the Shuffle dn or Scan do functions.
