Application Temperature
The graphics tape can be applied when air and application surface temperatures are
between 65 degrees and 90 degrees. Surfaces may be heated in order to raise the
surface temperature. Portable heater, heat lamps, or hot water may accomplish this.
Surface Preparation
All surfaces must be considered contaminated and must be cleaned prior to application
of film or fabricated parts. On repainted vehicles, paint must be thoroughly dry before
any attempt to apply decals to the vehicle is made. 48 hours after painting is recom-
mended.
The recommended procedure is as follows:
1. Wash the surface with detergent and water before solvent wiping.
2. Dampen a clean cloth with Isopropyl alcohol or DuPont Prep-Sol Brand Solvent
Cleaner #3919S and wipe the substrate surface.
3. Dry the surface with lint-free cloth before the solvent evaporates.
