Warranty Information
1997/1998 Model Year
Should any Mark III conversion require service, the service representative working with
your dealership will need the following information to obtain an authorization number
for repairs. When Mark III parts are required, call the Mark III Customer Care Center
Toll-free number.
Orders placed prior to 3:30 P.M. EST each day will be shipped the following day if it is
a stocked item. items which must be assembled or painted require 2 working days after
order is placed before shipment. Warranty parts are shipped C.O.D./ R.F.C. (return for
credit) or no charge. Non-warranty parts are shipped out C.O.D., plus freight and
handling fee (7%). Please use the following telephone numbers:

Prior authorization is not needed if repairs are within the Mark III allowable guidelines
(Refer to the Labor Times Section of the Service Manual)
Have the following information available when contacting your Mark III Service Representative:
1. Last eight (8) digits of VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) or the Mark III Production number
2. Repair Order Number (Labor Authorizations only)
3. Owner's name, address and phone number.
4. Dealer's name, address and phone number.
5. Date of retail purchase
6. Mileage of van or pickup
7. Description of Mark III parts (page and Item Number from Mark III Parts Manual if
available) or OEM parts used.
Note
“CS” in the Mark III Parts Manual represents COLOR SPECIFIC.
8. Itemize defects
9. Itemize labor time per defect and annotate your current shop labor rate.
10. Purchase order is required when ordering warranty or non-warranty parts.
Repair Order Processing Procedures
All warranty repair orders (RO’s) will be approved for payment when the following information has been verified
and approved:
1. Vehicle identification number.
2. Customer name, address and phone number.
3. Date unit was purchased.
4. Current mileage at time unit was repaired.
5. Dealership hourly labor rate.
6. List each repair and an itemized description of what was actually done to correct the problem. Please indicate
“how long” it took to repair.
7. List / describe each part used.
