Running Board
Removal/installation
Removal
Remove self-tapping screws that secure fender flare to body. Remove fender flare.
Remove self-tapping screws that secure running board to body.
Remove step treads PAL nuts.
Remove step tread and running board.
Remove excess tape from body and clean running board and fender flare surfaces with
alcohol.
Note: Do not remove the metal support brackets from the frame. This is a critical
alignment area. Only remove the running boards from the support brackets. This
will ensure replacement running boards are properly aligned to the body panels.
Installation
Remove excess tape from rocker panel and clean rocker panel mounting surface with
alcohol.
Peel off approximately 2-3” of tape red plastic backing at each end of the running board
and allow to hang over the side as shown.
